What is UFO?

UFO is a Defender, a security device designed for rear doors of the vans. Thanks to its assembling plates adjustable on any type of vehicle, UFO is easy to install on any kind of van in about 30 minutes.

Its structure is very compact and its security anti-drill cylinder makes this lock anti-picking so it earns the TÜV and CNPP validation. The UFO cylinder provides up to 250,000 different combinations. This makes it the highest security device among the products in its range available on the present market.

What is UFO+?

Meroni UFO+ fix lock is an additional security device for light commercial vehicles. It is an evolution of the UFO lock which complements and enhances the characteristics.

It is a lock entirely fixed on the rear doors of the vehicles. Opens with a turn of the key and closes automatically. Ufo+ is provided with an emergency cable for opening the door from the inside in case the user, inadvertently or intentionally, should lock himself inside the vehicle.

Also UFO+ is supplied with universal assembly plates that allows its installation in 35 minutes.

How it differs from UFO?

Differently from UFO, UFO+ is particularly suitable for users with a need of very frequent “open & close” deeds during the day; its automatic locking system makes it perfect for couriers or users who make dozens of openings and closings.

Its security lock cylinder with dimple key makes it highly resistant. You can also buy the product equipped with mixed encryption cylinders and master key; each van will open with its own key while the master key will be able to open them all. (Important: this function must be requested when ordering!). It is particularly suitable for those who must manage several vans or numerous fleets.

Equipped with drill-proof steel defender and a body in heavy duty AISI 304 stainless steel, it makes the load compartment unassailable.
